Dance and stage performance

The body has 53 degrees of freedom and reaches up to 3 m/s, which covers walking, running and stage dance; control is compliant, so it holds a posture even while performing alongside a person. The manufacturer captioned the footage itself with “No speeding up, no AI generation”, so it is neither sped up nor computer generated, which is the only thing that matters about a robot in motion.

A full-size body

Fifty-three degrees of freedom throughout the body, compliant control and a natural posture. The exterior is designed for public space and allows a change of outfit for different occasions.

Walking and running

Speeds of up to 3 m/s cover walking, running and stage performance. The gait is markedly human-like, with natural arm swing and knee flexion.

Multi-modal interaction

Interaction runs through speech, expression and head and body language; the robot recognises a visitor and greets them by itself. Commentary works standing still and while walking, with visual analysis for questions and answers.

Front, side and back. The build is deliberately human and well proportioned, because the robot works among people in public space; the exterior is designed so it can be dressed for the occasion.

A hand you can take

The standard build carries a model hand, with a dexterous hand of eleven degrees of freedom as an option. Control is compliant, which is what makes contact with a person safe and measured.

Each arm has 7 degrees of freedom, and the standard model hand can be swapped for a dexterous one with 11.
